Danielle Dutcher, M.S. ’19, appeared on WTNH’s CT Style on Dec. 30, 2022, to discuss the latest assistive technology tools being used in the classroom today.
Dutcher, who works at ACES as an assistive technology specialist, studied special education. ACES and its many programs serve students with disabilities and learning differences in the Greater New Haven region.
“Assistive technology is really any tool that helps someone eliminate barriers to access,” said Dutcher. “It can be low tech, high tech, a bunch of different tools available.”
