As media buzz ramps up ahead of the November general election here in Connecticut, political science professor Jonathan Wharton appeared on WTNH’s “Capitol Report with Tom Dudchik” recently for a roundtable discussion on local and state politics.
Topics included advertisements for the gubernatorial race, the surprising win by U.S. Senate Republican candidate Leora Levy during the primaries, and Democratic and Republican weekend events to rally their bases.
Wharton’s teaching centers on state and local government, public policy, economic development as well as identity and coalition-building politics.
